Review: Abaddon's Gate
Abaddon's Gate by James S.A. Corey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Again gritty and well-written. Suffers a _little_ bit from that escalation syndrome common to space opera series, wherein every book has to up the stakes a bit until everything always has to end up with galaxies at stake. But in this case those galaxy-spanning events are squarely secondary to the story of the humans killing each other, as humans are wont to do, so that helps to keep it grounded.
